Memory Care Groundbreaking

Iconica and Ashford Martin Corporation will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Aster Memory Care of Mequon, an assisted living community for seniors with memory care needs including Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Organizers will host the event at 6729 West Mequon Road on Thursday, November 6th at 1:00 p.m., near the construction site. Area officials and other invited guests will be in attendance.
Guests will able to preview an architectural rendering of the project. The 28,000 square feet, secure, single story structure, will feature 40 private rooms with full baths and flat-screen TV’s. Community spaces include activity and living room areas, two dining rooms, hair salon, and a hydro/whirlpool spa. The exterior will feature landscaped grounds, outdoor walking paths, beautiful gardens and an enclosed courtyard.

Known for having beautiful, homelike environments, Aster Memory Care of Mequon will offer the same ambiance as other Aster communities. Residents, families and guests will enjoy warm, welcoming parlors, beautiful decor and special touches throughout the building.

Iconica is providing architecture, engineering and construction services. A public grand opening will take upon completion of Aster Memory Care of Mequon, which is scheduled for August, 2015. An estimated 30 full and part-time jobs will result from the project.

Aster Assisted Living has senior living communities in Clintonville, Cottage Grove, Marshfield and Monroe. All properties are operated by Ashford Martin Corporation which currently employs over 150 individuals and serves nearly 250 seniors.
